Shawn played the mom on Round House. Her charater has been very important for the shows entire run. She is a native of Laguna Beach, CA. She is a graduate of the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera workshop. She has a very pretty voice and has been using it since she was 14. Shawn took roles in regional theater, with shows such as Babes in Hollywood, Evita, Mame, Man Of La Mancha, My Fair Lady, Oklahoma, South Pacific, and West Side Story. In 1995 Shawn sang in a Gershwin review put on by the Library of Congress. The concert aired on radio in July.

Shawn also hosted a top 20 mtv countdown, appeared with the 2nd season cast on entertainment tonight, hosted SNICK live with the 4th season cast.
